KARAS-SAELENS

Bernadine Karas-Saelens, 78, a 48 year resident of Elmhurst.  Found peace, at home, September 14, 2011.  Loving wife of Robert F. Saelens and the late Joseph Karas.  Dear mother of David (Colleen) Karas, Daniel Karas, Dennis (Louise) Karas and Thomas (Sandra) Karas.  Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Alexander, Daniel, Dana, David, Candice (wife of Rodel Cacas), Joseph, Andrew and Hannah Elizabeth.  Proud great grandmother of Neji Cacas and Lillian Hellminski.  Beloved sister of Marlene Malloy.  Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.  Aunt of many.  Family and friends may gather Sunday, Sept. 18th, 3 to 9 PM at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst, where prayers will be conducted at 9 AM Monday, Sept. 19th, followed by Celebration of Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Bensenville, at 10 AM. Fr.
