SCHMITZ

Pamela June Schmitz, nee Grob, 63, a lifelong resident of Elmhurst.  Found rest Feb. 24th, 2011.    Loving Wife of Arthur “A.J.” Schmitz.  Dear Mother of Eric and Alex.  Proud Grandmother of Jordan. Cherished Daughter of the late Robert and Marion Grob.  Sister of Robert (Marjorie) Grob. Sister In Law of Norman (Jacquelyn) and the late Jackie (survived by Jack) Payne. Aunt of Jillian, Elizabeth, Courtney,  Jeffrey (Kristine), Steven (Sally), Heather (Peter) Larson, John and Susan.  Pam married AJ in 1973 and he found she was an avid Reader, Sports Fan (primarily Tennis and the Chicago Cubs).  She had a passion for Motor home Travel that has left the family with countless memories, as did living in the 400 block of Fairfield.  Although she was employed by the State of Illinois for 25 years, nothing got in the way of her sincere interest in her many dear friends and her Tennis, Bunco and Bridge club gatherings. Family and Friends may visit Sunday, Feb. 27th, at The Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst, from 3 to 9 PM.  Prayers, at the Mortuary, Monday, Feb. 28th, 10 AM followed by Celebration of Funeral Mass, Immaculate Conception Church, Elmhurst, at 11 AM. Rev. Fr.
