Emily Louise Day (nee Iverson), resident of Bensenville, IL since 1957, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015. Emmie Lou is the beloved wife of Richard for 65 years; the loving mother of Val (Don) Cawley, Scott (Jackie) Day, Paula (Ed) Lazar, and Kristina (Mark Ray) Day; the proud grandmother of Jeremiah (Crystal), Whitney (Dan), Vanessa (Adam), Tom (Andrea), Daniel, Nicole, Zoe, Ben, and Liam and honored great-grandmother of Bennett, Eva, and Peyton Emmylou; the dear sister of the late Fred (the late Katherine), the late Loretta (the late Elmer) Von Kaenel, the late Ralph (survived by Hilda), the late Ray (survived by May), Chuck (the late Ruth), Ted (the late Betty), and Bob (the late Michelle); fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst, IL on Friday Sept. 4, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, 1072 Ridge Ave., Elk Grove Village, IL.
