Evelyn C. Manson

Evelyn C. Manson nee Goltz, 79, of Addison, IL found peace Thursday, July 26th surrounded by her children. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 42 years, Donald E. Manson. Loving Mother of Karl (Cindy) Schindl III, Eileen (Patrick) Hansen, Tracy (Julian) Balboa and Jeffrey Manson; Dear Step-Mother of Michael Manson and Terri Lee. Cherished Grandmother of Kaitlyn, Kyle, Kelsey, Kerry, Patrick, Christian, Avery, Emily and Abby; Great-Grandmother of Landon. Sister of the late Reverend Edward Goltz and loving aunt of many. Evie was a graduate of Harper High School in Chicago and Elmhurst College. She was a long time parishioner of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Elmhurst. was a majority member and adult advisor for the International Order of Rainbow for Girls in Illinois, a Masonic youth organization. Evie worked as a receptionist for Ryan, Pacchetti & Watts Ob/Gyn for over two decades. She had a passion for social justice and education. She was a loving, devoted and proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Family and friends are welcome to remember Evelyn and celebrate her life at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Road, Elmhurst on Monday, July 30th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
