Gloria Bausch, Age 82, of Elmhurst, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away surrounded by family and friends on October 22, 2017. Gloria was born in Chicago, IL on May 22, 1935, daughter of the late Karl and Cora Schmidt. A native of Lakeview, Gloria attended Lake View High School, Class of 1955.A loving Wife, Mother, Oma, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend. She's preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Stacy, Irma Hein, Nancy Fiddler, and Marylou Reichel, brothers Herbert Schmidt and Billy Millbrandt, Stepmother Mary Schmidt and brother-in-laws Darel Stacy, Harry Gorski, LeRoy Hein Sr, and John Fiddler, and lifelong friend Judith Houser.She's leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 59 years, Walter, children; Diane (Danny), Robert (Lenore), Janet (John), Eric (Jovanna). Beloved Oma to Stephanie (Robert), Amber Alvarado (Edgaras), Dylan, Michelle, Eric, and Vanessa, sisters Phyllis Rutherford and Patricia Mitria (Alphonse), Carol Ann Gorski, brother Ted Schmidt, brother-in-laws Dieter Latsch, William Reichel, and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many more dear friends. Wake will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Bensenville, Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 3pm. Funeral services to be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Bensenville, Thursday October 26, 2017 at 10am, burial at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst immediately following the service.
