Helen Liapis, born in Louka, Greece, passed away August 22, 2017, at the age of 72 ; Beloved Wife of Vasilios Liapis; Loving Mother of Chrisanthy (Santo) Terenzio, Dina (Kostas) Kartsonas, Gus (Tina) Liapis and Louis (Sheila) Liapis; Honored and Cherished YiaYia of 14; Dear Sister of the late John Avros, Sarah Villies, Tasia Villis, Triso Koustenis and Pete Avros; Endearing sweet Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Demetrios, 893 N. Church Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126.
