James Joseph Parisi

August 15, 1942 - November 7, 2020

James "Jim" Parisi, age 78, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Orland Park, IL, passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2020; Dear son of the late Dominick (the late Mary nee Alleruzzo) Parisi; Devoted husband of the late Mary Lee Parisi for 49 years; Loving father of Jeff (Kristin) Parisi, Brian (Danielle) Parisi and Nick (Bianca) Parisi; Adored grandfather "Papa" of Nick, Michael, Julia, Quinn, Cole, Mikey and Jimmy; Admired brother of Vince (the late Rose) Parisi and the late Dominic (survived by Joyce) Parisi. Adored Uncle to many nieces and nephews; fond cousin to many. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and his very dear friends. Jim enjoyed three wonderful years sharing time with his companion Patti Allen. He was very involved in shaping the lives of the young adults in the area. Mr. Parisi taught PE and Drivers education at the Argo Community High School for 35 years. He also coached varsity wrestling and football; an avid golfer and was happy when he was cooking meals for his family and friends. He was a long-time member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Orland Park, IL. and St. Agnes Catholic Church in Naples, Florida. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL. 60126. Covid restrictions call for facial masks and social distancing. The service will be limited to family.  The Mass will be live streamed via Mary Queen of Heaven's Facebook page.  A funeral mass will also be held in late December at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Naples, Florida.
