Judith A. Bowen

January 24, 1940 - October 19, 2019

Judith A. Bowen (nee Bucholz), 79, passed away October 19, 2019.  Judith was the devoted wife to the late Thomas H. Bowen.  She is survived by her children Cynthia Lawson (Carl Kramm), Mark (Kelly) Bowen, and Molly (Patrick) Hinton; her two brothers Phil (Sherril) Bucholz & Fred (Becky) Bucholz; and sisters-in-law Jane (Ron) Pugl & Sue Bucholz-Rice.  Judith was the loving grandmother to ten - Thomas Pinskey, Richard, Dylan, & Rachel Lawson, Jason, Jessica, & Madison Bowen, and Maxwell, Lucas, & Keegan Hinton. She is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Carl Bucholz, brother Mark J. Bucholz, nephew Eric F. Bucholz, and sister-in-law Susan (Bowen) Healey.  Judy was the loving aunt to eleven nieces and nephews. Judy graduated from York Community High School in 1958.  She later became a member of the support staff at York and retired after nearly 25 years of service. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 3 pm until 8 pm at Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst.  Prayers will be Thursday, October 24 at the funeral home, proceeding to Elm Lawn Memorial Park for burial.
