Lenore E. Schwartz, longtime resident of Elmhurst, passed away Dec. 31, 2015 at the age of 76. Lenore was the Devoted Wife of 53 years to Doug; Loving Mother of Kim (Andre) Madrigal and Deanna (Brent) Harrison; Proud Grandmother of Ryan, Evan, Sam and Evie Rose. As a young girl, Lenore studied ballet in Chicago, IL and later in life, danced professionally with Ballet West. This led to her passionate work as a coach in girl's gymnastics at the Illinois Gymnastics Institute (I.G.I.) in Westmont, IL for 25 years. She lived an exceptional life by doing what she loved to do and by sharing that passion with her gymnasts. Her family will receive friends at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 3 to 9 p.m. with words of remembrance given at 7:30 p.m. There is a memorial fund set up at gofundme.com in Lenore's name in lieu of flowers.
