Patricia A. Long

August 31, 1936 - September 14, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Ann Long (nee Lewis), 84, of Elmhurst, Illinois, announces that she peacefully passed away with family by her side on September 14, 2020. Loving Mother to John Jr. (Lisa) Long, Steve (Cindi) Long, Jeff (Meri) Long, Debbie (Larry) Robbins, Elizabeth (Joel) Voyles.  Cherished Gramma to Jennifer (Todd) Dombroski, Kristin (Chad) Siewert, Samantha Long, Robin (Joe) Blum, Justin (Leah) Long, Todd (Tara) Long, Stephanie (Anthony) Giampapa, Jennifer (Nick) Limerick, Jamie Schiffer, Keenie (Jennie) Gutierrez, Kelly Gutierrez, Sara (Brandon) Arnold, Lori (Tre) Talbert, Katie Robbins, Paige Robbins, Emily (William) Ferguson, Dylan Voyles, and Brady Voyles.  Pat loved her great-grandchildren, Ally, Jake, Melanie, Jordan, Joey, Jack, Blake, Sophia, Zac, Andrew, Madelyn, Noah, Wyatt, Lexi, Caden, Cami, Tori, Shannon, Colleen, Wesley, Sadie, and Madison. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John "Jack" Long, retired Elmhurst firefighter; brother Ivor Lewis; sister Doris Kasnick; and brother and sister-in-law Frederick and Murial Long. Pat will always be remembered by her love of crafts and sharing her talent with her family and friends.  She will be missed by her friends at Brookdale in Hoffman Estates. Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2020 from 3 pm until 8 pm at Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 N. York Street, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 19 at 11 am at the funeral home followed by entombment at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois. Following covid-19 regulations we ask that everyone attending wear a mask and practice social distancing. We are not able to accommodate the lounge as food and drink are not allowed.
