Phillip J. Potter, 64, of Elmhurst peacefully passed away on December 5, 2016.He was born on August 25th, 1952 in Melrose Park, IL the son of Jay & Marion (Langlois) Potter. Phillip was a retired railroad conductor of 40 years in Bensenville, IL. He enjoyed spending time at his camper at WoodHaven Lakes, Sublette IL. He looked forward to his retirement gatherings with his buddies.Survivors include Elaine PotHter (Palamidis); daughter, Katherine (Jay) Welty, De Pere WI; Son, John (Michelle) Potter, Rosendale WI; Son, Mark (Jessica) Potter, Rosendale WI; Grandchildren: Jacob & Jenna Welty, Kevin & Alec Potter, Erik Atkinson & Nathan Potter. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Patricia Lingle, Millie (Juan) Cisneros, Marie Lingle, Barbara (Don) Shirley, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 30 years Donna Potter, Parents, Jay & Marion Potter, his brother Robert Potter and two brothers-in-law Clyde and Richard LingleVisitation at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Street, Elmhurst, Friday, December 9 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Tim Bayer officiating.Laid to rest at Arlington cemetery with a chapel service at Elm Lawn cemetery.
