Richard F Kopp

Richard F. Kopp, 91, of Elmhurst, IL died June 12, 2022 at home in the presence of his loving family. He was a devoted husband of Ann B. Kopp for 63 years; adoring father to the late Richard F. Kopp Jr., James (Lynn) Kopp and Nancy Mika; fond brother of Carol Stroh. Richard was a great man who cared for his family deeply. He was an avid gardener, artist and in his younger years a fisherman. He played the saxophone and clarinet in a band for some time, a musical talent that he passed along to his children. He worked as a locomotive tester with EMD for 37 years which showcased his passion for trains. Richard, his wife Ann and their 3 children would love to travel around the United States as a family, taking in all the sites and enjoying adventures together. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served his time in the Korean War.
